Charcoal Portrait

There are so many talented artists in my portrait classes. But every week, they are shocked at how far I’ve gotten with my piece in 2.5 hours. Most focus on one part or another and finish it during the week. (And they look SO GOOD.)
Let me tell you, I LOVE these classes. For 2.5 hours a week, I am uninterrupted and unbothered with work and bills and distractions. But the reason I get so far each class is solely because that is the only time I know I will have to finish it. There is no homework for me. I am one and done with these portraits. My calendar is full but I’ll be damned if I don’t make the most of the time I’m given. 😅
